Antique Napoleon III clock in gilt bronze and Sèvres porcelain

Antique Napoleon III clock in finely chiseled gilt bronze with hand-painted Sèvres porcelain plate inserts. The plate depicts a gallant scene, the upper part has a very elaborate chisel inside which there is an enamelled porcelain dial. The gilding is of the galvanic type. The discovery of the galvanic technique began in 1791 when Luigi Galvani discovered the electric fluid, for this reason all electrolysis procedures are called galvanostegia, deriving from the surname Galvani.
