Antique Louis XV style mirror in gilded and carved wood, Tuscany early 1900s

Louis XV Tuscan style mirror in gilded and carved wood belonging to the early 20th century. The mirror looks like a triumph of carved wood with a movement that develops from bottom to top where it is possible to appreciate all its finesse. The cymatium is a succession of volutes, rocailles and plant racemes with a medallion depicting a nobleman in the centre. Two feet with a rocaille pattern contribute to the elegance and refinement of this splendid object with a medallion with the profile of a historical figure in the center. The mirror is made of mercury salt glass and is contemporary with the wooden frame.
