Antique Louis XV style mirror in gilded and carved wood

A Florentine Louis XV-style mirror in gilded and carved wood, dating back to the mid-19th century. The mercury mirror is surrounded by a plant-motif carving, from which a larger rocaille carving typical of the style originates. The cymatium features a carving of racemes and flowers with a shell in the center. Provenance: Florence, 19th century. Overall Condition: Minor defects.
