Antique Maggiolino style inlaid buffet & hutch in rosewood, Italy 19th century

Beautiful antique china cabinet - buffet & hutch, finely inlaid in Maggiolino style with precious woods, Italy 19th century. Of great elegance and visual impact, the china cabinet is richly inlaid with floral decorations and country scenes with peasants and cherubs. The upper part is characterized by two columns and three small drawers, the lower part is composed of two large drawers and low doors that open onto two internal shelves. The locks have working keys.
Giuseppe Maggiolini was a master cabinetmaker at the courts of the Austrian Habsburgs family and of Napoleon Bonaparte, and the Royal Villa of Monza is still furnished and decorated with his wonderful creations.
