Antique Napoleon III octagonal coffee table in mahogany, marble and bronze

Antique Napoleon III coffee table in mahogany with finely chiseled gilded bronze elements. The white marble top is surrounded by a beautiful perforated gilded bronze railing. The band under the top is enclosed by two bronze frames and is highlighted by the presence of four bronze harps. The eight columns are always in gilded bronze and rest on four feet ending with bronze socks. A quadrangular cross acts as a connection, creating an additional support surface.
Condition: Restored by master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method.
Provenance: 19th century France.
