Ceramic horse sculpture by Carlo Morelli from the 1970s

Large ceramic sculpture with prancing horses created by the Italian artist Carlo Morelli. Born in Medicina, in the province of Bologna, in 1931 Carlo Morelli, painter, sculptor and ceramist, has been active since the post-war period in Igea Marina, in the province of Forlì, with his own studio-workshop in via Metauro, called "Ceramiche Morelli", where he created a production of vases, ornaments and unique pieces with a surrealist flavour, the latter signed in full: Carlo Morelli. He died in Bellaria Igea Marina in 2013. Offered at an excellent negotiable price.
