Description

Bellissimo ed elegante divano del 1972 attribuito a Michel Ducaroy, in pelle color cioccolato.

"Beautiful couch from 1972 attributed to Michel Ducaroy, in chocolate-colored leather.
The French designer Michel Ducaroy (1925-2009) was best known for his iconic Togo sofa, inspired by pop art and produced by the famous Ligne Roset manufacturer.
In 1954, Ducaroy began working with Ligne Roset, a family-owned French company dedicated to the production of traditional and luxury seats. In the 1960s, Ligne Roset was one of the key designers and manufacturers, preferring biomorphic shapes and high-tech synthetic materials such as foam, thermoformed plastic, and upholstered fabrics. Some of the successful designs by Ligne Roset are the Adria, Kashima, Koufra, Safi, and Kali collections.
The Togo, similar to a cushion, without structure and foam padding, made Ducaroy and Ligne Roset famous internationally. Launched in 1973 at the Salon des Arts Ménagers in Paris, the Togo sofas and chairs have been sold to more than a million buyers in over 50 countries.
