The work is in excellent condition, further images are available upon request. Enrico Baj, one of the most important Italian artists of the fifties and sixties, was born in Milan in 1924. After graduating from high school, he began studying medicine at the University of Milan, which he abandoned after the Second World War in favor of Faculty of Law (which he completed by becoming a lawyer) and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, often in parallel. In 1951 he held his first solo exhibition at the Galleria San Fedele in Milan.
