Important baroque chest of drawers in inlaid walnut, Italy 17th century

This antique Italian chest of drawers from the second half of the 17th century is an authentic masterpiece of the Baroque period, reflecting the elegance and craftsmanship typical of the Louis XIV style. Attributable to the prestigious cabinet-making workshops of northern Italy. Made of solid walnut with a rich decoration on each side characterized by fluid elements such as curls and scrolls. The ebonized wood frames further enhance the richness of the light inlays. Featuring four large drawers offering generous storage space. The first drawer, equipped with other internal drawers, can be opened by folding and reveals a useful surface for quick writing or as a support for consulting documents.
