Original Thonet smoker's chair with ashtray

This smoking chair was built in the Louis Philippe period, and is made of walnut wood and original Vienna straw.
Conceived by the Thonet family, the model of this innovative chair was subsequently copied and reproduced by numerous other companies.
It can be used as a normal chair or, sitting astride it, it becomes the ideal seat for a smoker, with a handy ashtray to be extracted if necessary. At the front feet it has two wheels.
