Pair of antique Empire wall lamps in gilded and satin bronze

A pair of finely chiseled antique gilt-bronze and satin-finish bronze wall sconces, dating to the second half of the 19th century. The front is punctuated by a palmette-shaped design with a patinated bronze lion's head at the center. The two expertly chiseled arms are connected to the head by a circle chiseled with a floral motif.
Condition: Perfectly functional. Origin: 19th century France.
