The artwork is signed, numbered 223/250, and dated 1979, and comes complete with frame. Yaacov Agam was born in 1928 in Rishon le-Zion, Israel, and moved to Paris in 1951, where he studied in the studio of Jean Dewasne. There, he met great contemporary painters, including Marc Chagall, Fernand Léger, and Auguste Herbin, who had a significant influence on his magnificent artwork. Dimensions with frame: 75 x 69 x depth 3.5 cm. Dimensions of the work alone: 60 x 53 cm.
